Although the choice of roller blind materials is endless, we at Blind Date realize that they are not to everyone's taste. That is why we have mastered the art of making roller blinds from your own curtain material, which means you can co-ordinate your roller blind to match the décor of a particular room. This can be done by processing or by laminating

Processing

This is the less expensive option and is achieved by taking your fabric and coating it with a solution which is absorbed by the cotton fibres. After a drying period the fabric stiffens, allowing us to cut it to size and side-hem to prevent fraying.

Laminating

If your fabric has a stain repellant such as Scotchguard or has been flameproofed we have to laminate it. This is carried out by bonding your fabric to a stiffened backing which is then cut to size and overlocked to prevent fraying.

With many styles and shapes to finish the lower edge of the roller blind, these can be complemented by adding double piping in a contrast colour or using the same material; the choice is up to you.

Special Notes for Processed and Laminated Blinds: We recommend fabric is always kept covered and dispatched on a roll. We cannot be held responsible for creased fabric.
Although every care is taken during production, it is not always possible to obtain an exact pattern alignment.
We cannot be held responsible for colourfastness or fabric shrinkage during Processing.

Laminated blinds are reverse rolled at customers own risk. We do not recommend laminated blinds to be reverse rolled.
Surplus Material will only be returned if requested.
